The Archdiocesan Pastoral Institute (API) is the formation and animation organ of the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur;
The primary objective of the Institute is to provide relevant information and formation to the People of God to enable them to deepen their faith and to live as authentic Disciples of Christ; and
Its long-term goal is the realisation of the vision of “A New Way of Being Church” through the transformation of our parishes into “A Communion of Communities”.

Resource Coordinator

The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur was erected as the Diocese of Kuala Lumpur by Pope Pius XII on 25 February 1955, and was elevated to the rank of a Metropolitan Archdiocese on 18 December 1972, with the suffragan sees of Melaka-Johor and Penang.
