Work productivity requires healthy cognitive functioning. This includes information processing, memory, decision-making, planning, organising, coordinating, communicating and personal management skills. Should any of these functioning be disrupted, work productivity would be affected and quality of life as a whole gets affected. As such, Mental Health is a very important component in the workplace setting. In this talk, Dr Alvin Ng will explain how cognitive functioning is affected by multiple factors and what we can do about workplace burnout.
