We are happy to announce that His Grace, Archbishop Emeritus Murphy Pakiam has been discharged from Assunta Hospital this afternoon after having completed his treatment and quarantine.

He will continue convalescing at his residence in the Chapel of Our Lady of Good Health, Kampung Pandan.

For his safety and in compliance with the MKN SOP, His Grace will not be receiving visitors. We would appreciate if the public could afford him time to rest and to regain his strength.

COMMUNIQUE
Medical status of Archbishop Emeritus Murphy Pakiam

This evening, His Grace Most Reverend Archbishop Emeritus Murphy Pakiam was admitted to Assunta Hospital after being tested positive on a COVID 19 Rapid Antigen test.

The decision to admit him is to ensure that he gets the best medical care and to allow his condition to be monitored by medical professionals.

Archbishop Emeritus Pakiam had received his second vaccination dose in the month of June.

His Grace, Archbishop Julian Leow would like to request the faithful to offer prayers for the speedy recovery of Archbishop Emeritus Pakiam and for the medical team that will be attending to him.
