This is an extract from the Chancery Notice on 31st March 2022 - Guidelines for Celebration of Holy Week Liturgies 2022 in the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur

  • In consultation with the Archdiocesan Crisis Task Force, Archbishop Julian Leow D.D. has issued some guidelines for the liturgies in the upcoming Holy Week celebrations (kindly refer to the Appendix below).

The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur was erected as the Diocese of Kuala Lumpur by Pope Pius XII on 25 February 1955, and was elevated to the rank of a Metropolitan Archdiocese on 18 December 1972, with the suffragan sees of Melaka-Johor and Penang.
