Laudato Si' Action Platform

In the Laudato Si' Action Platform, Pope Francis invites the world to join in an ambitious seven-year journey to integral ecology and sustainability.

This series will explore each of the seven goals of the LSAP. Ecological practitioners inspire us and share their lived experiences with us and will invite us into dialogue around the question, "What call did I hear that will move us further on the path of ecological conversion?"

The seven goals, grounded in Laudato Si' concept of integral ecology, include:
1. Response to the cry of the earth
2. Response to the cry of the poor
3. Ecological economics
4. Adoption of simple lifestyles
5. Ecological education
6. Ecological spirituality
7. Emphasis on community involvement and participatory action

The poor are not just recipients of justice, they are agents of transformation. Their respective culture, traditions, and beliefs can teach humanity how we are to use the good of the earth for the common good.
