World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests.

19th June, Friday is the great Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

On this feast, which is celebrated on the Friday after the Solemnity of Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, Holy Mother Church also sets aside as World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests.

We recognise that our Church and the whole world is in most need of holy priests. 1

May our priests, like the beloved disciple always lean on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, embracing His love for them and in turn seek His guidance and most holy will in all they do, giving their heart wholly to Him and His flock.

May we as sheep remain steadfast in praying and offering sacrifices for their sanctification.

The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur has set aside 10.30 a.m., on 19th June for Holy Hour for Sanctification of Priests presided by Archbishop Julian Leow.

On this great solemnity of the Lord, the abstinence from meat is lifted.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us
St John Vianney, pray for us
St Margaret Mary Alacoque, pray for us
St Claude de la Colombiere, pray for us
