Harvest Festival of Kaamatan & Gawai

My dear friends,

As Malaysians we join our Sabahan and Sarawakian brothers and sisters as they celebrate the Harvest Festival of Kaamatan and Gawai respectively.

Though the celebrations this year may be low-key and the feeling of sadness and despair of not being able to return home during this festive celebration is perfectly understandable, let us not miss this opportunity to express joy and thanksgiving for all the blessings we have received in our life.

We are fortunate that we are still able to usher in the festivities and celebrate with our family and friends via online platforms, which continue to keep us connected with one another during this difficult period.

May this Harvest Festival inspire all Malaysians to work hard to sow seeds of unity and harmony, so as to reap a rich harvest of prosperity and peace.

Wishing all who are celebrating a joyful and meaningful celebration!

Kotobian tadau tagazo do Kaamatan! Gaya guru gerai nyamai!
