This webinar explores the challenges and issues that parents face in raising their children in the 21st century. The economic, social, educational, workplace and technological realities of this century requires a different parenting approach from the traditional one based on fear and punishment. It proposes an approach based on positive engagement with their children as well as knowing how to set clear boundaries and following-up on boundary violations in a way that allows the child to take responsibility for his or her actions. The webinar also helps parents empathise with the confusion and challenges that their children struggle with as they journey through adolescence and what they can do to support them through this period.
