Protocol Document for Visiting Priests
Welcome to the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.
This protocol applies to any priest from outside the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei who presents himself under one of the following circumstances:
There are three (3) forms which must be completed:
Form A is a statement signed by the Diocesan Bishop or Religious Superior of the visiting priest attesting to his suitability for ministry; | Download Form A |
Form B is a profile to be completed by the visiting priest with pertinent personal information; | Download Form B |
Form C is an undertaking by the visiting priest to abide by conditions laid down by the Archdiocese. | Download Form C |
All forms duly completed and, together with a valid celebret, with six (6) months validity, and a copy of passport is to be e-mailed at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
The Chancery will acknowledge receipt of the forms. Within fourteen (14) working days you will be notified as to whether your request has been approved or not via e-mail.

The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur was erected as the Diocese of Kuala Lumpur by Pope Pius XII on 25 February 1955, and was elevated to the rank of a Metropolitan Archdiocese on 18 December 1972, with the suffragan sees of Melaka-Johor and Penang.
