Google Classroom MediumINTRODUCTION

This Training has been tailored to meet the growing demand from catechists all around the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur and any other diocese to sow the seeds of faith using available technologies. This training is divided into 3 parts and they complement each other well.

 

ANTICIPATED PARTICIPANTS

Parish Office personnel, Parish Social Communications Coordinators and also Religious Education catechists and/or coordinators. 

 

PREREQUISITES

The catechist must have the following information prepared before joining the training session

  • A current and active @gmail.com or @archkl.org email account;
  • Able to operate the computer/notebook/tablet well; and
  • A good internet line at a minimum of 30 Mbps.

 

COURSE OUTLINE

Getting started with Google Meet
Learn how to use Google Meet for real-time student collaboration, connecting to the world, and driving student discussion in and out of the classroom.

Get started with Google Forms
Learn how to use Google Forms to build surveys, measure student success, administer quizzes, and more.

Getting started with Google Classroom
Learn how to use Classroom to manage coursework, organize assignments, boost collaboration, and foster better communication.

PARTICIPATION

Parish Priest (Ecclesiastical Assistant for Archdiocesan Ministry) is required to send out an email from his own @archkl.org email iD to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the participant details (Name, Email iD, and Hp Number). Maximum of 3 participants from each parish/ministry. 



TRAINER

Andrew Dass is a catechist with Sacred Heart Church KL, Jalan Peel. He has been a catechist for almost 14 years now sharing faith with the Form 4 and Form 5 students. He is a professional Trainer in IT technologies focusing on Cloud services, IT Technology blueprints, and IT audit processes. He has been a professional trainer for almost 16 years now and he has been providing training Online as well during these challenging times.
